When I mentioned to Jess Todtfeld who I typically interview for the Heart to Heart series, he told me that his story was “not as compelling” because he’d met his wife when he was 18 and been with her for 21 years.  From my perspective, that right there was unique because the median duration for marriages is just over seven years.

I wanted to hear how Jess and his wife, JoAnne, have made it work so I invited him to share a few ideas from his experience.  He came back with eleven “Thoughts for Those Wishing to Last the Test of Time.”
